El Ministerio de Cultura y Turismo de la provincia trabaja en conjunto con otras áreas del Gobierno para asistir a los damnificados por los incendios provocados por el viento Zonda sobre el pedemonte de Luján de Cuyo ubicados al oeste de la Ruta 82.
El Gobernador Rodolfo Suarez convocó a la ministra de Cultura y Turismo de Mendoza, Nora Vicario, y al intendente de Luján de Cuyo, Sebastián Bragagnolo, para avanzar en la ayuda para los afectados.
Posteriormente, la ministra, junto al presidente del Ente Mendoza Turismo Emetur, Marcelo Montenegro, se reunieron con la Cámara de Prestadores Turísticos de la Ruta 82 para determinar con precisión la magnitud de daños sufridos y trabajar en la recuperación de la zona y en el restablecimiento de los servicio por parte del Ente Provincial Regulador de la Electricidad (EPRE) y Edemsa.
Según el relevamiento realizado por el Gobierno de la provincia, el fenómeno meteorológico provocó graves daños y pérdidas totales en la zona del piedemonte del departamento de Luján de Cuyo, más precisamente las localidades de Colonia Suiza, Cerro Los Cóndores, La Crucecita, Ruta 82 y calle La Unión, donde se asientan numerosos emprendimientos turísticos.
“Este relevamiento nos permite contar con información clara para la gestión de fondos que el Gobernador Rodolfo Suárez realiza con el gobierno de la Nación frente a la Declaración de Emergencia Ambiental y Habitacional que estableció para afrontar la recuperación de las zonas afectadas«, detalló la ministra Vicario.
Entre las tareas, se finalizó el restablecimiento urgente de los servicios. En tanto que la Cámara aportó el mapa de la zona afectada e información sobre agencias de turismo aventura, estudiantil, gastronomía, proveedurías afectadas, servicios de internet, telefonía entre otros.
