Más de 15 mil personas participaron del Gran Desfile Cívico Militar por el Aniversario de Luján de Cuyo para celebrar sus 169 años de vida.
El pasado domingo 12 de mayo, las gradas ubicadas en Avenida Roque Sáenz Peña del microcentro de Luján de Cuyo se colmaron de vecinos para formar parte del tradicional desfile que realiza todos los años el departamento, para celebrar un nuevo aniversario de su creación.
El Intendente Esteban Allasino encabezó la celebración y estuvo acompañado por dos ex Intendentes de Luján: Omar De Marchi y Sebastián Bragagnolo. También estuvo presente el Ministro de Defensa de la Nación, Luis Petri y el Ministro de Producción de Mendoza Rodolfo Vargas Arizu.
Luján de Cuyo, el pasado 11 de mayo, cumplió su centésimo sexagésimo noveno año de vida y, como acostumbra a hacer todos los años, lo conmemoró con el Gran Desfile Cívico Militar, en las arterias del centro departamental. Más de 4 mil personas participaron del recorrido y en las gradas se contó con la participación de más de 11 mil vecinos, que se acercaron –a pesar de las bajas temperaturas- para formar parte del evento idiosincrático que tiene el departamento.
El desfile peatonal, concretamente, contó con la participación de escuelas secundarias y colegios privados de Luján, asociaciones civiles del departamento y los siempre protagonistas y honorables Veteranos de Malvinas.
También formaron parte del recorrido las bandas de música de la Fuerza Aérea y la de Talcahuano y grupos de las Fuerzas Armadas y de Seguridad, distribuidos en personal de Gendarmería, la Policía Federal, la Policía de Mendoza y la Policía Vial Municipal.
Con respecto a la participación de éstos últimos, es importante destacar que, por la presencia del Ministro de Defensa de la Nación Luis Petri, todos los organismos de las fuerzas de Argentina contaron con la presencia de los cargos más jerárquicos.
Acompañando el Gran Desfile organizado por la Municipalidad, pasaron por el cielo tres Aviones Pampa y un helicóptero, pertenecientes a la Sección de Aviación de Ejército de Montaña VIII.
Por su parte, las entidades civiles e institucionales que decidieron participar del 169° Aniversario de Luján de Cuyo, a pesar de la hostilidad del clima y las bajas temperaturas, aludían a clubes deportivos, alumnos y docentes de los diferentes establecimientos educativos del departamento, agrupaciones gauchas de la provincia, colectividades representativas de Luján y grupos de adultos mayores.
