El Gobernador Alfredo Cornejo y el intendente de Godoy Cruz, Diego Costarelli, recorrieron la obra del sistema de provisión de agua potable de la cuenca Oeste del departamento del Gran Mendoza. Los acompañó el titular de Aguas Mendocina, Humberto Mignorance, el secretario de Ambiente, Obras y Servicios Público del municipio, Damián Salamone, y la directora de Obras, Sabina Banzán.
Localizados actualmente en el ex autódromo Los Barrancos y con un avance en su ejecución del 28%, las tareas permitirán abastecer, reforzar y ampliar el sistema de provisión de agua potable de la cuenca Oeste del departamento del Gran Mendoza, beneficiando, de este modo, a más de 30.000 vecinos.
“Este acueducto que atravesará Godoy Cruz desde el límite sur, con Luján, hasta el límite norte, con el Parque General San Martín, permitirá llegar con un mejor servicio a los 31.000 habitantes de este lugar y desarrollar toda esta zona del pedemonte”, explicó el Gobernador durante el recorrido y destacó que la obra contempla la incorporación de tecnología moderna de macromedición a fin de optimizar el uso del agua. “Es un avance que intentamos llevar a todo el Gran Mendoza”, afirmó.
Estas tareas permitirán ampliar y mejorar el servicio de agua corriente para más de 30.000 vecinos.
Detalle de la Obra
- Primer tramo de la etapa 1: Desde cámara La Puntilla (actual Aeroclub Mendoza) hasta el empalme con el acueducto existente en calles Lancuyén y Guaymaré (Barrio Puesta del Sol). Longitud: 1.416 metros.
- Segundo tramo: Desde el punto final del acueducto existente en Av. Marciano Cantero (a la altura del Parque Solar) hasta la intersección de Marciano Cantero y Segundo Sombra. Longitud: 898 metros.
La obra busca mejorar el abastecimiento normal en verano, permitirá proyectar otros barrios en la zona a futuro e incorpora tecnología moderna de macromedición para optimizar el uso del agua.
