Con motivo de los festejos del Día del Estudiante y la ansiada llegada de la primavera, el Ministerio de Seguridad ha desplegado operativos intensivos en toda la provincia. Pese a las advertencias, hay un alto número de controles con 250 litros de alcohol decomisados.
En Potrerillos, Luján de Cuyo, se han controlado hasta la siesta de éste 21 de septiembre, 500 vehículos y más de 1500 personas. En este operativo, se decomisaron más de 100 litros de bebidas alcohólicas, para garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar de todos los participantes.
En El Carrizal, ubicado en la confluencia de Luján y Rivadavia, se controlaron alrededor de 800 personas y se decomisaron 150 litros de bebidas alcohólicas.
En el sur
En el sur de la provincia, las autoridades lograron desarticular una fiesta no autorizada en Bowen, donde se detectó la venta de entradas y alcohol a menores de edad. En el resto de los campings y áreas con gran concurrencia de jóvenes en el sur provincial, se decomisaron 20 litros de bebidas alcohólicas y se controlaron a más de 1500 personas.
Equipos y tecnología
Para llevar a cabo estos controles, se utilizan avanzados dispositivos biométricos faciales, puntos de identificación biométrica dactilar y vehículos equipados con sistemas de videovigilancia y computadoras a bordo, que permiten la identificación en tiempo real de personas con órdenes de captura o medidas judiciales pendientes, mediante el cruce de datos de bases nacionales y provinciales.
Además, helicópteros de la fuerza policial sobrevuelan áreas verdes y cuerpos de agua en todo el territorio provincial para garantizar la seguridad de la población.
