Magdalena Espósito Valenti, condenada por el crimen de Lucio Dupuy, fue trasladada a un penal federal en Mendoza durante la madrugada del miércoles. El procedimiento se llevó a cabo luego de que la Justicia decidiera separarla de su pareja, Abigail Páez, quien permanecerá detenida en el Complejo Penitenciario de San Luis.
El traslado de Espósito Valenti,, madre de Lucio Dupuy, al Complejo Penitenciario Federal N°6, ubicado en Cacheuta, Luján de Cuyo se realizó en una camioneta del Servicio Penitenciario Federal esta semana.
A pesar de que solicitó ser trasladada al penal de Santa Rosa para estar más cerca de su familia, se decidió su traslado a la cárcel de Cacheuta, debido al perfil criminal de la mujer, según lo informado por el Servicio Penitenciario Federal.
La noticia fue difundida por la ministra de Seguridad, Patricia Bullrich, a través de sus redes sociales, donde aseguró que “las responsables de su sufrimiento y el de toda su familia van a tener su merecido, y Lucio y su familia van a tener justicia”.
Ambas, Espósito Valenti y Páez, fueron condenadas por el asesinato de Lucio Dupuy, un caso que conmocionó a la sociedad. La Justicia determinó que el menor murió por “múltiples golpes” y presentaba signos de haber sido abusado sexualmente.
El pedido fue recibido por la jueza Marisol Rodríguez quién derivó la solicitud al Servicio Penitenciario Federal. Ese organismo consideró las condiciones de la Unidad 13 y determinó que no reunía las garantías de seguridad adecuadas. Por tal motivo, decidieron derivarla al penal federal de Luján de Cuyo.
