La Biblioteca Popular Municipal Juan Bautista Alberdi, dependiente del Área de Desarrollo Humano de la Municipalidad de Luján, será sede de la charla «Las representaciones de la ciudad en la literatura». La misma estará a cargo de la Dra. Marta Castellino y la Mgter. Marta Marín, ambas docentes de la carrera de Letras de la Universidad de Filosofía y Letras de la UNCuyo.
El encuentro será el día jueves 19 de mayo a las 17:30 h en la sala de la Alberdi, acompañará el Club del Lector. Es una charla gratuita y no se necesita inscripción previa, salvo solicitud de certificado de asistencia.
Castellino, además de Doctora en Letras, es directora del Centro de Estudios de Literatura de Mendoza (CELIM). Es desde un proyecto del CELIM que nace la charla que se brindará en nuestra sala. Marta Castellino será la encargada de contextualizar la charla exponiendo sobre la configuración de la ciudad en literatura mendocina. Luego, Marta Marín ejemplificará estos aspectos en dos autores lujaninos: Rolando Concatti y Benito Marianetti.
La iniciativa parte de la consideración sobre«las numerosas representaciones del espacio geográfico presentes en la literatura. Tan estrecha es la relación que una ciudad, cualquier ciudad, no es solo un espacio geográfico sino es también un espacio literario, un ámbito en el que se funden la realidad con la ficción, la realidad con el mito. Es posible leer la ciudad como un texto que da cuenta de las huellas que va dejando la acción prolongada de sus habitantes».
Dentro de la literatura, la ciudad existe con sus propias contradicciones y complementos: la ciudad exterior y la ciudad interior, de la ciudad visible, la ciudad invisible, la ciudad central y la de los márgenes, la ciudad que cobija y la ciudad que exilia. La topografía se funde en autobiografía y se convierte en una especie de espejo de la vida personal y a la vez social.
Una de las premisas que estará presente en la charla es que la relación que un autor tiene con su ciudad. Esta relación es tan estrecha que puede proyectar su memoria para escribir su propia vida en función de ese espacio.
A partir de estos fundamentos las disertantes abordarán el rol que ocupa este tema en la literatura, teniendo en cuenta, la ciudad desde la que esa literatura se produce ya que «abordar las representaciones literarias de la ciudad puede ser un instrumento eficaz para reflexionar sobre la cultura generada a través del vínculo entre lo material construido y lo humano, valorarla como patrimonio, re pensarla y proyectarla hacia el futuro».
Sobre las profesoras
Marta Castellino. Es Profesora y Licenciada en Letras, egresada de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UNCuyo. Miembro fundador y actual directora del Centro de Estudios de Literatura de Mendoza (CELIM).
En 1997 obtuvo su Doctorado en Letras con una tesis sobre Realidad, folklore y mito en la narrativa breve de Juan Draghi Lucero. En la actualidad se desempeña como Profesora Titular de Literatura Argentina Siglo XX en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras. Es autora de numerosos libros y artículos sobre autores y temas relacionados con la Literatura regional. Actualmente dirige los proyectos: «El campo cultural mendocino en las últimas décadas del siglo XX: prácticas y actores sociales» y » Las representaciones de la ciudad en la Literatura».
Marta Marín. Licenciada en Letras, egresada de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. Magister en Literatura Argentina Contemporánea con orientación en Literatura Regional. Es miembro del Centro de Estudios de Literatura de Mendoza (CELIM) donde se desempeña como investigadora.
Es Jefe de trabajos prácticos de Fundamentos de los Estudios Literarios, todas actividades desarrolladas en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras. Ha publicado reseñas y artículos sobre autores mendocinos en revistas especializadas. Actualmente participa en los proyectos: «El campo cultural mendocino en las últimas décadas del siglo XX: prácticas y actores sociales» y «Las representaciones de la ciudad en la Literatura», ambos dirigidos por la Dra. Castellino.
