El ministro de Economía, Sergio Massa, anunciará el próximo martes los niveles de aumentos en las tarifas de gas, energía eléctrica, y agua que regirán en las distintas regiones del país, «ya que se buscará respetar las particularidades de cada región», según indicaron fuentes del Palacio de Hacienda.
«No es lo mismo utilizar 400 kilowatts en Capital Federal y el Gran Buenos Aires, que en el noreste del país, donde se cocina con electricidad», dijeron las fuentes.
El jefe del Palacio de Hacienda había manifestado durante su primera presentación que «los casi 4 millones de hogares que no solicitaron subsidios en la segmentación tarifaria «serán el primer corte» y dejarán de percibir el beneficio, y adelantó que se implementará un esquema para promover el ahorro en el consumo energético.
Massa había indicado que «entre los más de 9 millones que sí pidieron mantener el subsidio se va a promover el ahorro por consumo«, y detalló que «en luz se subsidiará hasta 400 kilowatts, en materia de gas la quita seguirá la misma lógica y en agua la aplicación de la quita por segmentación se iniciará en septiembre».
En tanto, la portavoz de la Presidencia, Gabriela Cerruti, afirmó este jueves que de los 9 millones de hogares que solicitaron mantener subsidios de luz y gas, «el 80% gasta menos de 400 kilowatts por mes, por lo que van a mantener el subsidio», en relación con la segmentación de tarifas encarada por el Gobierno nacional.
«Del 20% restante no esperamos que paguen más tarifas sino que reduzcan un poco sus gastos energéticos», agregó Cerruti durante su habitual conferencia de prensa semanal en la que brindó pormenores de la reunión mantenida este jueves entre el presidente, Alberto Fernández, y su ministro de Economía, Sergio Massa.
La funcionaria también indicó que la nueva política en relación con las tarifas no tiene solamente un objetivo fiscal, sino que también persigue «una idea de empezar a considerar que tanto el gas como la luz son bienes de difícil acceso en el mundo, que son bienes que tenemos que cuidar porque tienen que ver con la crisis climática, y que por lo tanto el ahorro tiene que pasar a ser una acción voluntaria pero persistente de los argentinos y las argentinas».
El ministro dará a conocer este viernes quién lo acompañara en la estratégica secretaría de Política Económica, que se considera como un viceministro, añadieron esas mismas fuentes oficiales.
