Con 24 años, Joaquinha Lerena -tal es su verdadero nombre- hizo su debut actoral en la precuela de la miniserie dirigida por Adrián Caetano. “La actuación es algo que me gustó desde chiquita, pero nunca lo encaré como una meta ni me lo propuse como objetivo tampoco, pero es algo que siempre me llamó la atención», dijo La Joaqui en una nota con La Nación.
Si bien La Joaqui nació en Argentina, la joven cantante vivió hasta los 15 años en Costa Rica. Tras su regreso al país, a los 18 se volcó de lleno a la música, donde se hizo de un lugar en la escena del hip hop. En Youtube sus temas «Gaucho», «Oh rayos», «Más mala yo» y «Falso amor» cuentan con millones de visualizaciones.
