El Intendente Esteban Allasino encabezó la firma del convenio que creó la primera Escuela de Capacitación Gastronómica y Hotelera en el distrito de alta montaña que contará con clases teóricas y prácticas. Conocé más en la nota.
La propuesta de la Escuela de Capacitación Gastronómica y Hotelera se dividirá en clases teóricas, que se llevarán adelante en el CIC del distrito, y en talleres prácticos, en el Gran Hotel Potrerillos. La intención es ofrecer una salida laboral de calidad a la comunidad, en un rubro tan demandante que tiene la zona.
La Municipalidad de Luján de Cuyo en conjunto con el Gran Hotel Potrerillos y la Unión de Trabajadores del Turismo, Hoteleros y Gastronómicos de la República Argentina Seccional Mendoza, firmaron un convenio marco para crear la primera Escuela de Capacitación Gastronómica y Hotelera en la localidad de Potrerillos, que ya tuvo su primera capacitación con la presencia de 50 alumnos.
La comuna de Luján de Cuyo, liderada por el Intendente Esteban Allasino y de la mano de la Dirección de Desarrollo Económico y la Oficina de Empleo, llevaron adelante -junto con la Secretaría de Capacitación y Formación Profesional del Sindicato de Gastronómicos (UTHGRA) y la gerencia del Hotel Potrerillos– el diseño y la implementación de un Programa de Formación Integral en Oficios.
El mismo está vinculado a prácticas en el rubro de hotelería, gastronomía y servicios al cliente, desarrollados en programas específicos que dictarán cursos prácticos en el Gran Hotel Potrerillos y las clases teóricas en el Centro Integrador Comunitario, de la localidad de alta montaña.
Empleabilidad
Esta iniciativa está orientada principalmente a fortalecer vínculos institucionales entre las partes y a desarrollar proyectos formativos y de capacitación conjuntos, que contribuyan a mejorar la empleabilidad y, en especial, a facilitar la salida laboral de los miembros de la comunidad.
La intención concreta es aportar mano de obra calificada a las diferentes demandas laborales que actualmente tiene la zona de Potrerillos y para aquellas que se avizoran en un horizonte próximo, como consecuencia de los distintos desarrollos y emprendimientos que está planificando la región.
Fortalecimiento local
Finalmente, la creación de esta Escuela de Capacitación Gastronómica y Hotelera también pretende garantizar una salida estable y de proyección para aquellos vecinos que, por distintos motivos, no pueden ofrecer formación diferencial para la demanda del mercado.
También esta propuesta promoverá el arraigo de los miembros de las comunidades locales, en desarrollos comerciales instalados, colaborando de esta manera al crecimiento y la consolidación de la sociedad de Potrerillos.
La primera capacitación práctica se llevó adelante en las instalaciones del Gran Hotel Potrerillos, donde el primer cupo de 50 alumnos (se anotaron 170 vecinos del distrito) tomaron las clases prácticas de “Cocina I” dictado por el reconocido Chef Internacional Jorge Ontiveros.
Las capacitaciones y clases incluirán distintos módulos como pastelería, panadería, atención al cliente, idiomas y servicios, entre otros.
Al respecto, el Intendente Esteban Allasino aseguró que es necesario llevar adelante este tipo de iniciativas para contener el crecimiento sostenido que viene teniendo el turismo en Mendoza y principalmente en Luján de Cuyo.
“La intención es replicar este tipo de decisiones en otros circuitos turísticos y gastronómicos del departamento, como Agrelo y la zona céntrica de Chacras de Coria”, anticipó el Jefe Comunal.
