Para éste lunes 06 y martes 07 de mayo, el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional emitió un alerta amarillo por viento y viento zonda. Desde Defensa Civil indicaron las principales zonas que podrían resultar afectadas.
El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional indicó un aumento en la temperatura para este lunes emitiendo una alerta amarillo por viento y viento Zonda.
Los mapas referidos muestran las zonas alcanzadas por el alerta que comenzó el lunes y se espera que alcancen mayor extensión para el martes 07 de mayo.
El Nivel de alerta color amarillo indica que es importante mantenerse informado ante posibles fenómenos meteorológicos con capacidad de daño y riesgo de interrupción momentánea de actividades cotidianas.
Debido a la llegada del viento Zonda, la temperatura se elevará y en el Gran Mendoza la máxima será de 17° y la mínima de 7°.

«El área será afectada por viento Zonda con velocidades entre 40 y 50 km/h con ráfagas que podrían alcanzar los 75 km/h. Este fenómeno puede provocar reducción de la visibilidad, un aumento repentino de la temperatura y condiciones de humedad relativa muy baja», explicó el SMN.
Se espera que las ráfagas de viento caliente lleguen en la tarde de lunes y afecten a Las Heras, Luján de Cuyo, Junín, Rivadavia, San Carlos, Tunuyán, Tupungato, General Alvear, San Rafael y Malargüe.
En tanto, la cordillera mendocina, de norte a sur, se encuentra en alerta amarilla por vientos. «El área de cobertura será afectada por vientos del sector oeste con velocidades entre 50 y 70 km/h con ráfagas que podrían alcanzar los 90 km/h», explica el SMN.

En tanto que descendería el zonda en Malargüe, Oeste de San Rafael, Valle de Uco, precordillera de Luján de Cuyo y Uspallata, además de Junín y Rivadavia.
