Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated every year on March 17th. Although it began as a religious celebration for the patron saint of Ireland, it has transformed into a global feast of Irish culture.
According to legend, St. Patrick used the shamrock (a three-leaf clover) to explain the Holy Trinity to the Irish people.
Today, people celebrate by wearing green, attending parades, and sharing traditional meals like corned beef and cabbage.
