El diputado nacional de Juntos por el Cambio Omar De Marchi presentó un proyecto de ley para modificar el nombre del Centro Cultural Kirchner por el del humorista gráfico Joaquín Salvador Lavado Tejón. En medio de la repercusión que tuvo la muerte del creador de Mafalda, el legislador mendocino planteó: “Quino es de todos, su nombre pacifica y une. Siempre estuvo por encima de las grietas”.
“CCK por CCQ”, escribió De Marchi en su cuenta de Twitter al difundir la iniciativa, que propone renombrar como “Centro Cultural Quino” al espacio ubicado en la manzana delimitada por las calles Sarmiento y Bouchard y las Avenidas Leandro N. Alem y Corrientes, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
“Quino sobrevoló por sobre las discrepancias cotidianas de la política argentina. Sus mensajes fueron una fina e inteligente interpelación sobre los graves problemas universales”, expresó el diputado nacional y anterior intendente de Luján de Cuyo.
En el escrito, aseguró que Quino “no pierde actualidad porque es un clásico de la vida cotidiana de todos los tiempos”. “La trascendencia de su obra es tal, que sus libros se editan en lugares tan distantes de la Argentina como Grecia y Canadá y en todos lados son locales y actuales. Eso es un testimonio del genio, la atemporalidad y universalidad de su obra, la cual seguirá formando y divirtiendo a las generaciones presentes y futuras de nuestro país y el mundo”, aseguró.
